Cancel culture at work: What happened to Mike Lindell, owner of the My Pillow company, with multiple big box stores refusing to carry his products, is one of the worst examples of Americans ganging up on another American that I’ve ever seen. Think about it: His business came close to shutting down just because he had an opinion contrary to others. Every red-blooded American who cherishes our freedoms and our First Amendment should be greatly bothered by this stunt, perpetrated by stores including Kohl’s, Wayfair and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Beg to differ: Rolling Stone magazine recently came out with their new “200 Greatest Singers of All-Time” list. Elton John, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Presley all failed to make the top 10. Are you kidding me?
No more money for Ukraine: It’s high time the U.S. shuts off the Ukrainian aid spigot, which could possibly continue ad infinitum. President Zelenskyy has gone to the finance well once too often and our country is way beyond the humanitarian and arms funding sequence. This is not our war with Russia and why should we, the U.S. citizens, be the funding charity arm for it? Until our own southwest border is secured and properly guarded, I do not believe we American taxpayers should pay one more dollar to Ukraine.
Biden not to blame: President Joe Biden did not cause the high price of chicken and eggs, the bird flu did. The president is often blamed for the increased cost of energy and for inflation in general. Is he responsible for the high price of gas and food and other goods in the UK and across Europe too?
It’s a mystery: I can’t help wondering how so many classified documents are finding their way into private hands? Are they sticking to the bottoms of shoes like wet toilet paper? Are they being stolen by aliens and deposited in the closets and crawlspaces of some of our leading politicians? It seems there is tighter security at our local library than the National Archives!
You don’t hunt with assault rifles: Persons who want to possess a rifle for the purpose of hunting deer or other big game have no need for a semi-automatic rifle with a 20-round magazine. A true sportsman should be content to own a lever-action rifle or a bolt-action rifle.
