There are 26 million applications now waiting for a Supreme Court decision on student loan forgiveness. Those payments have been suspended for three years and it’s probably safe to guess most have not even tried to make payments on these loans. We still have over 11 million unfilled jobs in this country. Instead of expecting working taxpayers to pick up the tab, get a job, and if that’s not enough, like millions before you did, get a second job.

I want to praise you for your article on female firefighters. As a former volunteer firefighter/EMT from 1978-1984, I was only one of two female firefighters when I first joined. It is inspiring to see more women entering such a rewarding occupation.

I watched a video regarding the arrest of the Arab boy in Oak Lawn. If the officer was really afraid of the boy going for his gun, why didn’t he grab his hands instead of punching him in the head?

State’s Attorney Kim Foxx has dropped the ball on the Jussie Smollett case, the R. Kelly case and now the case against the guy who just killed a Chicago police officer. She seems to favor celebrities and doesn’t do the job she was put in office to do. Can’t someone kick her out of office? She has to go.

The Democrats have again demonstrated their commitment to limit free speech by successfully eliminating the comic strip “Dilbert” from newspapers. Their petty hatred of everything the least bit conservative is obvious. They can’t take a joke.

They are building a marijuana dispensary on the site of the former Ace hardware store on 167th between La Grange Road and 94th Avenue. There is supposed to be indoor and outdoor seating for consumption. These people will then drive through our neighborhood streets while under the influence. What about the school that is kitty-corner from this site? All these politicians see is the dollar signs from the high taxes this facility will provide.
