
The following items were taken from Mundelein, Vernon Hills and Libertyville police reports and releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
LIBERTYVILLE
SEXUAL ABUSE
Gerald Harbison, 19, of O’Fallon, Missouri, was charged March 7, with criminal sexual abuse. Harbison traveled from Missouri to meet a 15-year-old in the Libertyville area. Further investigation revealed he engaged in sexual activity with the minor. Harbison is in the custody of the Lake County jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
DUI
Deaja Cherry, 24, of the 2000 block of Hermon Avenue in Zion, was charged March 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended registration. Cherry has a court date scheduled March 31 in Waukegan.
Ryan Spracklen, 24, of the 200 block of E. Park Avenue in Libertyville, was charged March 16 with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and illegal transportation of cannabis. Officers responding to a crash into a tree and found Spracklen to be impaired. He has a court date scheduled April 14 in Waukegan.
MUNDELEIN
LICENSE REVOKED
Jose Tobias of Mundelein was charged March 6, with driving while license revoked. During the stop, officer discovered Tobias had an active arrest warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol out of Lake County. Tobias has a court date scheduled in Waukegan.
Chaquanda Alexander of Waukegan was charged March 5 with driving while license revoked. Alexander was also operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Alexander has a court date scheduled in Waukegan.
DUI
Alejandro Alvarado-Montes of Grayslake was charged March 11 with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Alvarado-Montes was located sleeping inside his vehicle. He was also cited for unlawful transportation of cannabis. He has a court date scheduled in Waukegan.
VERNON HILLS
DUI
Oleg Gurevich, 53, of the 300 block of Pine Lake in Vernon Hills, was charged March 18, with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Oleg has a court date scheduled on April 19 in Waukegan.
Danielle R. Parsons, 40, of the 900 block of Fairlawn Avenue in Libertyville, was charged March 19 with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper parking on a roadway. Parsons has a court date scheduled April 12 in Waukegan.
THEFT
Alvaro A. Suarez-Munoz, 40, of the 1300 block of Ridgewood Drive in Highland Park, was charged March 18, with retail theft for leaving a Target store without paying for $376 worth of merchandise. He has a court date scheduled April 13 in Mundelein.
