Moving out
Never, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I’d see this country go through legalizing drugs. For what? So people can get stoned, and drive, kill and maim people and damage properties I just can’t believe Pritzker would allow this garbage. It’s an embarrassment. And yes, I am one that can’t wait to move out of this country, because I’ve got news for you folks, there are a lot of people leaving this country to live elsewhere.
Focus on teaching the children
It’s more important for the children in Waukegan schools to learn how to read, because they will not be able to read complicated books that might be on a banned list if they can’t read. So please, Waukegan, focus on teaching the children how to read.
Fawning at the feet of Trump
The idiocy expressed in Talk of the County never fails to amaze me. One contributor equates Trump protesters with the unemployed. I am here to remind you that Jan. 6, 2021, was a Wednesday. I guess those thousands had no jobs. Better yet, they should have been at work instead of fawning at the feet of Donald Trump and his big lie.
Something we can all be happy about
It was a ray of sunshine to see that Cooper Roberts was recognized for what happened on the Fourth of July. He’s gone through so much, and yet he’s accepting it and moving forward with it. And it’s just something that we can all be happy about.
Take care of America first
Hey Biden, instead of sending all this money to Ukraine, how about sending the money to Rolling Fork, Mississippi, and other Southern states that are being torn apart by these tornadoes. How about going in and rebuilding these communities with that foreign money? Take care of America first.
