Riverwoods
FORGERY
Stanley Washington, 32, of the 200 block of West Raye Drive in Chicago Heights, was charged with five felony offenses for his role in stealing and forging checks from a Riverwoods business April 13. Washington was arrested by Chicago Heights police on a warrant from the Riverwoods police department. He is alleged to have played a role in a scheme to forge checks in excess of $21,000 and depositing them into a Kentucky account in October, 2020. He was transported to the Cook County jail for transfer to the Lake County jail to await a bond hearing.
THEFT
Michelle Alexis Celorio-Llamas, 31, of the 1100 block of Deerfield Road in Deerfield, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespassing April 17. She was arrested in a yard near the intersection of Baneberry and Chicory lanes on a warrant issued by the Lake County sheriff’s office. She was transported to the Lake County jail. She was scheduled to appear in Lake County court in Waukegan.
