Celebrate Highwood presents “Drag Show & Dance Party,” 6:30-10 p.m. June 3 at 28 Mile Distilling Company, 454 Sheridan Rd., Highwood. Tickets: $20 entry fee. 847-748-8090; celebratehighwood.org.

The event is part of Highwood Pride Fest. Highwood was one of the first communities on Chicago’s North Shore to host a Pride Fest.

The Elmhurst Heritage Foundation presents a Vintage Baseball Game, 2 p.m. June 4 at the Elmhurst University Mall, 190 S. Prospect Ave., Elmhurst. Tickets: Admission is free. 630-833-1457; elmhursthistory.org.

The 1850’s rules will be followed for this Town vs. Gown showdown when a City of Elmhurst team competes against Elmhurst University staff players. Fans, known as Kranks, are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic meals.

The Music Institute of Chicago Chorale presents “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” 3 p.m. June 4 at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Ave., Evanston. Tickets: Admission is free. 847-905-1500; musicinst.org/chorale.

Conductor Daniel Wallenberg leads the chorus in a program that includes arias from several operas including “Carmen” and selections from Broadway musicals, including “Funny Girl.”
