A 19-year-old man was fatally wounded Tuesday morning in the South Shore neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 6:45 a.m., officers responded to ShotSpotter technology near the 6700 block of East End Avenue, and discovered a victim with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
The victim was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
