Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found outside a North Chicago residence Wednesday evening.
North Chicago police responded at about 5:30 p.m. to the 1600 block of Victoria for a report of a shooting. Arriving officers said they found a man, 31, outside a home with a gunshot wound.
He was brought to a hospital where he subsequently died, police said.
The man’s identity has not been released. Other details have not been released.
The North Chicago police and the Lake County Major Crime Task Force are actively investigating the shooting.
