1. St. Laurence 16-1 (1): Orlando Vazquez drives in a pair of runs in an 11-0 victory over Simeon for the Vikings, who extend their winning streak to 13 games.

2. Lincoln-Way East 14-1 (2): Purdue recruit Cooper Johnson doubles and produces four RBIs as the Griffins roll to a 17-4 win over Bradley-Bourbonnais.

3. Lockport 11-7 (3): With the Porters down to their final out, Frank Covelli Jr. delivers a two-run, walk-off double for a 6-5 comeback win over Downers Grove South.

4. Brother Rice 10-7 (6): Junior infielder Luca Agne, a transfer from Plainfield North, hits a homer and drives in three runs in the Crusaders’ wild 22-11 win over Homewood-Flossmoor.

5. Mount Carmel 11-6 (5): Notre Dame recruit Connor Elenteny throws a complete game, allowing just one earned run, in the Caravan’s 4-2 victory over Montini.

6. Lincoln-Way West 11-3 (10): Kellen Schulte tosses a complete game in a 3-1 victory over Lincoln-Way East for the Warriors, who also top Homewood-Flossmoor 16-1.

7. Lemont 10-3 (8): Senior catcher Matthew Ciesla, a North Central College commit, goes 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Lemont in an 11-7 win over Evergreen Park.

8. St. Rita 11-2 (9): Senior infielder Danny Corona drives in four runs in a 9-0 victory over Marmion as the Mustangs extend winning streak to eight straight.

9. Homewood-Flossmoor 10-5 (4): Mikey Watson delivers three RBIs to highlight 8-7 win over Bradley-Bourbonnais, but Vikings need to bounce back from otherwise tough week.

10. Lincoln-Way Central 10-4 (NR): Sophomore infielder Desmond Gill helps the Knights edge Sandburg 3-1 by going 2-for-3 with a big two-run single.

Player of the Week

Junior infielder/pitcher Danny Weed goes 8-for-13 with six runs, a homer and seven RBIs over four games for Tinley Park, which goes 3-1. He also strikes out eight over five shutout innings in a 4-0 win over Argo and records the save in a 9-6 victory over Oak Forest.
