Yorkville, Oswego East and Oswego inch up the rankings topped again by St. Charles North.

1. St. Charles North 17-1 (1): Senior pitcher Abby Zawadzki hits ninth home run of the season and junior outfielder Jordyn McBride adds her second as North Stars top Wheaton North 8-1.

2. St. Charles East 20-6 (2): Freshman outfielder Brynn Maple connects for two-run homer and senior catcher Hayden Sujack adds solo shot for Saints in 5-4 win over Sycamore.

3. Yorkville 21-6 (4): Senior first baseman Ellie Fox tallies three doubles and four RBIs to power Foxes to 15-4 win over Plainfield Central in Southwest Prairie Conference crossover.

4. South Elgin 14-4 (3): Freshman catcher Charlotte Rzenno and junior first baseman Liv Miller are leading run producers for Storm with 23 and 21 RBIs, respectively.

5. Oswego East 17-8 (6): Wolves cap off five-win week with 10-5 victory over Whitney Young in going 4-0 at Rosemont Rumble Jamboree. Junior catcher Danielle Stone delivers with 11 hits.

6. Oswego 14-8 (8): Senior catcher Maya Zamora, a Waubonsee commit, comes through with homer and four RBIs for Panthers in 20-5 rout of Joliet Central.

7. Hampshire 14-5 (5): Junior pitcher Julissa Akins hits two homers for Whip-Purs in 13-7 Fox Valley Conference win over Crystal Lake South.

8. Waubonsie Valley 11-8 (7): Sophomore pitcher Molly Quinn throws two-hitter with nine strikeouts and leads Warriors with three hits in 3-2 nonconference win over Batavia.

9. Kaneland 12-10-1 (9): Lewis commit Addison Coulter pitches win and hits homer with two RBIs as Knights avenge earlier Interstate Eight Conference loss to Sycamore with 4-1 win.

10. St. Edward 10-6 (10): Senior right-hander Alaina Nolan strikes out 29 in pitching three wins for Green Wave. Columbia recruit improves career-record total to 791 strikeouts.

Player of the Week

Senior pitcher Jaelynn Anthony goes 4-for-5 for Oswego with three homers, a double and seven RBIs in 14-6 win over Minooka. The Purdue recruit added another homer and two RBIs in 7-4 win over Bolingbrook, extending her program record for career homers to 41.
