Lincoln-Way Central takes the top spot back from Marist, while Tinley Park enters the rankings.

1. Lincoln-Way Central 24-6 (2): Braeden Fiore and the Knights are the top seed in sub-sectional B of the O’Fallon Sectional as all three teams in Lincoln-Way district hold down top three seeds.

2. Marist 25-5 (1): Max DeHoyos and the RedHawks, who pick up the top seed in a sectional they host, are seeking third straight trip to state.

3. Lockport 24-8 (3): Antonio Fiordirosa and the Porters are searching for their third conference championship in program history.

4. Lincoln-Way East 18-10 (4): If Will Hubatch and the Griffins can beat Stagg and Andrew next week, they could at least tie for the SouthWest Suburban Conference title.

5. Shepard 31-3 (6): Dylan Harkala puts away 17 kills in 22-25, 25-22, 25-17 win over Brother Rice as Astros win Chicago Christian Tournament.

6. Brother Rice 24-9 (5): A 22-25, 25-18, 25-17 win at Loyola should give the Crusaders and Isaac Soto a shot of confidence as they look ahead to Monday’s big battle with Marist.

7. Argo 20-9 (8): After beating Homewood-Flossmoor 25-20, 25-23, Konrad Tylka and the Argonauts have won eight straight matches.

8. Lincoln-Way West 19-14 (9): A wild 29-27, 22-25, 32-30 win Tuesday over Sandburg snaps a four-match losing streak for Colin Baikie and the Warriors.

9. Andrew 20-10 (7): Christien Scott-Nwosu and the Thunderbolts hope 19-25, 25-14, 25-22 loss to Stagg is just a blip on the radar.

10. Tinley Park 12-8 (NR): South Suburban Red champion Titans keep the faith that injured senior hitter Max Funk can return for the playoffs.
