1. St. Charles North 21-2 (1): Senior right-hander Abby Zawadzki delivers two-run homer and pitches 8-1 win over Lake Park that gives the DuKane Conference title to the North Stars.

2. St. Charles East 27-8 (2): Senior catcher Hayden Sujack chalks up three hits with a home run, double and four RBIs as Saints top Schaumburg 13-0 in regular-season finale.

3. Yorkville 26-9 (3): Freshman outfielder Alyssa Muhlbach sparks Southwest Prairie Conference champs to 10-0 win at Lockport with three hits, including bases-loaded double, and four RBIs.

4. Oswego 18-11 (4): Senior shortstop Kennedy Gengler goes 3-for-3 with double and RBI as Panthers close out regular season by rolling to 11-0 win over Romeoville.

5. Oswego East 25-9 (5): Sophomore pitcher Faith Hagerty holds off Yorkville 3-2 by throwing a four-hitter with five strikeouts for the Wolves. She doesn’t give up a walk or an earned run.

6. South Elgin 20-5 (6): Millie Viruet comes through with two-run double as Upstate Eight West champs top Upstate Eight East champ Riverside-Brookfield 11-6 in conference crossover.

7. Hampshire 20-6 (7): Sophomore outfielder Rebecca Coffey tallies three hits, including pair of RBI doubles, as Whip-Purs edge Huntley 8-6 to clinch Fox Valley Conference title.

8. Waubonsie Valley 15-12 (8): Sophomore designated hitter Molly Quinn steps up big against DeKalb with two hits, home run and four RBIs in 12-2 DuPage Valley victory.

9. Kaneland 15-11-1 (9): After week off, host Knights open regional Wednesday against Burlington Central. The teams never finished early April game called after six innings tied 1-1.

10. Sandwich 17-13 (NR): Senior catcher Kayden Corneils, a Waubonsee commit, hits two homers and drives in four runs to lead Indians to 11-6 win over Newark.

Player of the Week

Sarah Gurley goes 13-for-17 with five homers, three doubles and a triple over five games for St. Edward (15-11). The junior catcher/shortstop also scores 12 runs and drives in nine.
