Attendees are invited to join the Village of Glenview ceremony following the parade, which will feature remarks, including the singing of the national anthem and “God Bless America.”

In observance of the holiday, both Glenview and Northbrook village halls will be closed on Monday.

Glenview also has mounted a display this month of 10 banners on Glenview Road that honor Glenview residents who served in the military. The “Hometown Heroes” program is sponsored by the village and the Joseph M. Sesterhenn American Legion Post 161.
