There will be some who have not seen each other for 60 years, others who will still remember most of the names of those with whom they graduated. Some will have changed so radically they no longer are recognizable, others who look the same as they did on commencement day.
This year thousands of graduates will be attending high school and grade school reunions of Chicago area schools, rekindling the spirit and feelings of another time when they shared the experience of learning to cope with adulthood, intellectually, socially and emotionally. It was a formative time, fraught with fun, fright and friendship.
Today in the Suburban and City Tribs, for the third year, is a list of high school and grade school class reunions throughout Chicagoland and in some cases from as far as Texas. With more than 700 reunions, it is the largest such list in the country.
To find your class reunion look first for your high school or grade school listed alphabetically, then for the year you graduated. In some cases June and January classes are listed separately. The date of the reunion follows along with a telephone number or address of those planning the reunion. Even if you won`t be able to attend your reunion, call to let classmates know your whereabouts.
