A venture that would make the Triple Crown races–Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont–one long-running extravaganza has been launched.
Articles of incorporation were filed Monday with the Kentucky secretary of state`s office for Triple Crown Productions, listing as directors Churchill Downs president Thomas Meeker, Gerald McKeon of the New York Racing Association and Charles Lang of the Maryland Jockey Club.
