Philadelphia 76ers forward Charles Barkley said Sunday he may not participate in another NBA All-Star Game unless he is voted onto the starting team.

Barkley scored four points in 15 minutes Sunday during the East`s 138-133 victory over the West in the 38th All-Star Game at the Stadium. The All-Star Game was Barkley`s second. He played as a reserve last year and scored seven points in Seattle.

”I`m not meant to be a reserve,” Barkley said. ”I don`t think I want to play again if I`m not a starter.”

In his 15 minutes, Barkley tried to put some entertainment into the game. When Xavier McDaniel of the West and Danny Ainge of the East had a jump ball, Barkley tried to take Ainge`s place.

”The weekend was great, but the game was a waste of time,” Barkley said. ”It was a waste of a Sunday.”
