Barbara Sue Stauber and David Peter Schiappa exchanged wedding vows Oct. 8.
Rev. Hal Spann officiated at the ceremony in Bethany United Church of Christ, Chicago.
The bride, a daughter of Louis F. and Virginia Stauber, of Morton Grove, is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is a
microbiologist.
Her father owns several hardware stores. Her mother is a horticultural authority.
The bridegroom, a son of Anthony and Marjorie Schiappa, of Valley Stream, N.Y., earned a degree from Cooper Union University, New York City. He is a mechanical engineer for Unisys, Great Neck, N.Y.
His parents are retired.
After a reception in the Hyatt Regency O`Hare, Rosemont, the couple took a wedding trip to the Virgin Islands.
They live in North Massapequa, N.Y.
