Rev. Edmund F. Lyznicki, 72, a retired archdiocesan priest, died Monday in the Resurrection Pavilion nursing center in Park Ridge. Father Lyznicki, a native of Argo and a resident of Park Ridge, was ordained in February 1945, serving as parish assistant for nine years at Assumption BVM, 2434 S. California Blvd., in Chicago. In 1954, he joined the Air Force, serving for 22 years, before retiring. Father Lyznicki is survived by two brothers, Eugene and Joseph; and a sister, Lillian Noreiko. Mass was said Saturday.
