Wauconda Unit School District 118 trustees have resolved to come up with a policy to discourage gang activity.
At a meeting last week, they agreed they want either to adopt a policy that is as detailed as those in school districts in Palatine, Schaumburg, Rolling Meadows, Buffalo Grove and Naperville, or else to provide school principals with general guidelines.
