A North Chicago man was accused of threatening a man with a knife early Wednesday during a disagreement. Police said Fritz V. Merritt, 41, of 1512 Hervey Ave. was charged with aggravated assault. Merritt is accused of trying to stab the 27-year-old victim in the stomach near 14th Street and Elmwood Avenue.
