As vice president of marketing for Merchandise Mart Properties Inc., Christopher G. Kennedy keeps a schedule that could trip up even energetic souls.
The son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy manages the 4.2-million-square-foot Mart and the Apparel Center and the Washington Design Center in Washington, D.C., and is on the board of directors of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a non-profit organization that distributes 100 million pounds of food yearly to hungry people.
For Christmas, the 30-year-old Kennedy says he’d like a train set for his 15-month-old son, Christopher, a red Radio Flyer wagon for his 3-year-old daughter, Kate, a big tenant for the Mart and 100 volunteers for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Oh, come on, Chris. Nothing for yourself? “No,” he said. “I have everything I want in my life, with my kids and my wife, Sheila.”
