A 58-year-old man was charged Wednesday in the robbery of a Morton Grove bank, police said.
Morton Grove police said Walter Unbehaun, a former Morton Grove resident now living in Chicago, approached a teller in the LaSalle Bank at 8745 Waukegan Rd., about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The teller gave him $4,000, police said, and the thief drove off. Unbehaun was arrested in Niles a short time later.
