Police charged Jesus B. Santos, 38, of 724 Oakland Ave., Joliet, with aggravated assault and resisting arrest Saturday after officers were called to a reported domestic dispute. Police said he was holding a tire iron when officers arrived and when he was told to drop it, he swore at the officers. He posted $100 bond and has a Feb. 10 court date.
