The answer that came from our KidNews impromptu poll was a resounding…sort of.
KidNews: Did you have much chance to watch the Winter Olympics?
Hurdler Allen Johnson: “Very little -I try to look for the women’s downhill. I had a chance to meet Picabo Street last year, and I thought she had a great personality. I want her to do well whenever she races.”
Hurdler Mark Crear: “No, I didn’t, but if I did I’d watch figure skating. It’s a great sport. It’s technical, individual, sort of like track and field. No matter how good you are in practice, you have to do it when the moment comes.”
Pole vaulter Stacy Dragila: “Yes, I did. I like it all. I really like the figure skating. I think it’s a really beautiful event. Then, speed skating and watching Picabo was great.”
