Terry A. Spurgin, 42, of Geneva died Friday of injuries suffered in an airplane crash in New Lebanon, Ind. Mr. Spurgin enjoyed coaching his sons’ soccer, baseball and basketball teams and was a Bulls fan. He was also a boating and vintage-car enthusiast. A 1973 graduate of Geneva High School, Mr. Spurgin was employed by Dynaweld Inc. in Aurora. Survivors include his wife, Kristie; two sons, Kurtis and Kendal; his mother, Marilyn Spurgin; and two brothers. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday in United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton St., Geneva.
