A College of DuPage student employee was arraigned Friday on counts of computer and credit card fraud for allegedly breaking into a college computer.
Paul Rodriguez, 20, of Naperville was charged with two counts of attempted computer fraud and three counts of unlawful use of a credit card, said DuPage County Assistant State’s Atty. Paul Baroni. Each of the misdemeanor counts carries a penalty of up to $2,500 and a year in jail.
In each of the three alleged fraudulent transactions, Rodriguez is accused of stealing $250 to $300, Baroni said. He also is accused of attempting to steal $339 from one victim, Baroni said.
