Arrest warrants were issued Thursday for a couple after they failed to show up for the closing arguments in their criminal trial for allegedly running a house of prostitution in their Lombard neighborhood.

Doralynn Dusset-Greer, 47, and her husband, James J. Greer, 48, of 28 E. Willow St., had been on trial since Monday on charges of pandering and keeping a place of prostitution.

DuPage Judge Ann Jorgensen had set Thursday morning for closing arguments in the criminal case. When neither of the defendants had appeared 1 1/2 hours after the case was called, the judge issued the arrest warrants.

Lombard police began investigating activities at the small wooden house last year after complaints about large numbers of men constantly entering and leaving the home during the day.

The couple contended that they offered a model-photographing service and massages and have denied the prostitution charges.

Several other females who allegedly were working at the house and several men believed to be customers also were charged with prostitution charges.

Lombard detectives have said that the Greers advertised their business in several men’s magazines.

Several months after their initial arrests last year, Doralynn Dusset-Greer was arrested a second time and charged again with keeping a house of prostitution at the same location.
