Joseph J. Witry Jr., 56, of Woodstock died Sunday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was born in Evanston. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; a son, Joseph; a daughter, Catherine; a brother, Richard; and two sisters, Joan Gorner and Patricia Carbery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, with a liturgical wake service scheduled for 7:30 p.m. A mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock.
