Violet Genevieve Anderson, 79, of St. Charles, died Thursday at Delnor-Community Hospital, Geneva. Born in St. Charles, Mrs. Anderson attended secretarial school in Chicago after graduating from St. Charles High School. She was a former employee of the Soil Conservation Service of Kane County and the Cooperative Extension Service. Survivors include her husband, Glenn; three sons, David, Paul and Richard; three daughters, V. Christine Adolphi, Karen Ostash and Ruth; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles.
