Nearly $900 in power tools and a Sony 27-inch television valued at $500 were reported stolen Monday from a garage in the 20700 block of Garcia Avenue near Lake Villa. A door to the garage was kicked in, causing $130 in damage. A window to the house was also broken, but no entry was made, according to the police report.
