A robber Tuesday afternoon stole about $500 from Sally’s Beauty Supply, 1236 N. Lake St. The robber entered the store, pretended to shop, ran up to an employee behind a counter, implied he had a gun, covered his face with his shirt and demanded money. After the employee handed over the cash, the robber ran off.
