Danien Deanda, 29, of the 2300 block of North Oak Park Avenue, Chicago, was charged Saturday with retail theft after he was accused of trying to leave Super Kmart, 600 Meacham Rd., without paying for 11 packages of nicotine gum priced at $333. Deanda was released after posting $100 bail, police said.
