A local man is in DuPage County Jail after being charged with the March 10 robbery of a woman in the 100 block of East Grove Street, police said. Tomas J. Janousek, 22, of the 400 block of West St. Charles Road was arrested after a local business owner linked him to a composite sketch of a man who allegedly threatened the woman with a knife before taking her purse, police said. Janousek was charged with one count of armed robbery and bail was set at $200,000, police said. Police said they also arrested Charles Janousek Jr., 22, and charged him with attempted obstruction of justice for allegedly hiding evidence, according to police, who said the men are cousins and live in the same home.
