Two doctors were arrested Saturday after allegedly racing their convertibles, a 2002 Lexus and a 1998 Porsche, on Illinois Highway 83, police said. Alvaro Pena, 45, of the 1700 block of North 78th Avenue, Elmwood Park, was charged with drag racing and drunken driving and Vincenzo Bartolomeo, 45, of the 400 block of Edgewood Avenue, Wood Dale, was charged with drag racing, police said. The sports cars were released to their wives, police said.
