I was quite saddened to hear that Illinois has cut the “I decide” anti-smoking campaign out of its budget, especially because there still is such a huge smoking problem among teenagers (“State dashes teens’ edgy anti-smoking ad campaign,” Page 1, June 25). On a recent trip to Spain with my high school Spanish class, I was shocked to see the majority of my peers light up cigarettes.

The “All Smoke High” commercials were some of the most creative and poignant I have seen for anti-smoking, and I’m sorry to see them go.
