Dirt-Boarding: These days, it’s not just kids who are playing in the dirt. Los Angeles teens are moving to dry land and taking water sports in a dusty direction with the risky sport of dirt boarding. All that’s needed is a friend with a pickup truck, a dirt board–a snowboard-esque contraption for your feet–a water-ski-like towrope and lots of desert, not to mention some serious protective gear and supervision. Look out, North Beach, here we come.
