Six times Ohio State has played in a game decided by a touchdown or less — and all six times the Buckeyes have won, including Saturday’s 14-9 win over No. 12 Michigan.

There are some around the country who look at that and say Ohio State is catching lightning in a bottle, that it has been lucky to remain unbeaten.

Maurice Clarett (left), who broke Robert Smith’s freshman rushing record with 1,190 yards despite missing three games and parts of two others, begs to differ.

“You can talk all you want about how we don’t deserve to be here, we don’t deserve this, we don’t deserve that,” Clarett said. “But we don’t apologize for winning. We won 13 games — that’s all that matters.”
