Peter J. Wallison, who was White House counsel to Ronald Reagan, will share his insights on Reagan’s presidency, including Reaganomics and the Iran-Contra controversy, at a public symposium sponsored by Loyola University.

The event includes a book signing session from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and a program entitled “Ronald Reagan: A New View” from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday in Loyola’s Rubloff Auditorium, 25 E. Pearson St.

Wallison is author of “Ronald Reagan: The Power of Conviction and Success of his Presidency.” Wallison was also general counsel to the U.S. Treasury Department, 1981-1985, and a special assistant and counsel to Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, 1972-1976.
