If you’re anywhere around Plano this weekend, wave to Mayor Bill Roberts as he hangs out on a downtown rooftop to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Last year, Roberts raised $2,000 for the society’s local Relay for Life during his 49-hour stay atop the Plano Amtrak train depot. He hopes to top that before he comes down Sunday evening.
The Relay for Life overnight walkathon is scheduled for June 6-7 at Plano High School.
