An assistant principal of an Oak Forest middle school who is charged with criminal sexual assault involving a pupil student has been fired.
Thomas Grimm, 53, of Midlothian, assistant principal at Kerkstra Middle School in Oak Forest since 1991, was officially removed from his post by a unanimous vote of the Forest Ridge District 142 school board on Thursday.
