Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
RedEye hasn’t been out enough lately.
We were mixing with visitors from both coasts this weekend when we noticed a hair-raising trend.
Everywhere we turned in Lakeview, we saw guys who had molded their hair forward and up into a spiny ridge.
The spikes were a few inches high and looked like the ruffled fur on the back of a cat that is about to pounce.
It’s almost a Mohawk, but not so extreme–none of these guys had shaved the sides of their skulls.
Apparently its called the faux hawk, and it has been a hit with the trendy on the coasts for several months.
We bought our hair gel Sunday.
