A day after charging a Des Plaines woman with contributing to the delinquency of a 13-year-old girl, police charged her husband with felony sexual abuse of the child, the Cook County state’s attorney’s office said.

Christopher Suchta, 34, of the 900 block of East Villa Drive was charged Saturday with three counts of felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He also faces a delinquency charge. He appeared Monday in the Skokie Courthouse, where bail was set at $75,000. Suchta remains in Cook County Jail.

According to the state’s attorney’s office, the girl was at Suchta’s home Jan. 2, where she drank wine coolers with Suchta and his wife. Suchta later drove the girl to an industrial parking lot, where he fondled her, police said.

Suchta is due to appear in court Jan. 29. His wife, Jennifer, 29, is due in court Feb. 2.
