Woodstock’s18th annual Mozart Festival begins Saturday and features three weekends of performances at the Opera House, as well as a free concert at Park in the Square at 7 p.m. Aug. 4. Tickets to the other concerts–between $20 and $42 for single performances–are available by calling 815-338-5300.
Ice Cream Social
Friday, Schaumburg
Make your own ice cream sundae with all the fixings, and then settle onto your blanket and enjoy The Juke Box Band, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Schaumburg Park District’s Ice Cream Social at Town Square, Schaumburg and Roselle Roads in Schaumburg. Sundaes are $3; rain moves the party into the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springsguth Rd.
