Margaret Anita Seay, nee Slocum, age 96, beloved wife of the late Malcolm Seay was born on Oct. 22, 1908 in Chicago and passed away on Feb. 25, 2005 at Hinsdale Hospital. For 20 years she taught dancing at her school, the Slocum-Seay school of dance in Riverside and LaGrange, IL. She was past president of Avidae Scribae Chpt. of National Secretaries and a member of the Flagler County, Florida Art League. She is survived by her son Mac Seay; her daughter Marilyn (John) Seay Rogge; a nephew Art (Beverly) Slocum; two great-nephews, Sean and Ryan Slocum; a sister-in-law, Peggy Slocum; and two first cousins, Valerie Dye and Virginia Dye Martin. Margaret will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Visitation Monday, Feb. 28, from 11 a.m. until time of Service 1 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside.
