Lucille A. Steele, nee Schabell, age 79, of Lansing, IL, passed away April 3, 2005. She is survived by daughter Patricia (Michael) Gavin of Lansing, IL; grandchildren Kelly (Matthew) Balthasar of Whitefish Bay, WI and Michael Jr. of Lansing, IL; sister Evelyn (the late Donald) Spanbauer of Lansing, IL; she is preceded in death by her husband John E. Steele and parents Frank and Anna Schabell. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at 8:30 a.m., at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL, to St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL for a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Lucille was a member of the Lansing Womens Club for many years.
