General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co. and DaimlerChrysler AG’s Chrysler unit are getting higher prices and faster sales from 10 new cars compared with the models they replaced, J.D, Power & Associates said Friday.

The new sedans, including the Chrysler 300, Ford Five Hundred and GM’s Pontiac G6 and Buick LaCrosse, sold for 25 percent more in March compared with the models they replaced, J.D. Power said, citing dealership data.

The cars, introduced in the last 15 months, sold from dealer lots 45 days sooner, and rebates on them were 30 percent lower.
