You know it’s hiding somewhere. That photo of you and your date in your Gunne Sax dress and Gingiss rental tux, the wrist corsage, maybe a dapper top hat. It was the most glamorous evening of your 17 years, your prom.
We wallflowers at Q have to live vicariously, so we’re inviting you to send us your prom picture. If there’s a story to go with it–dreamy or disastrous–tell us (but keep it short!). We’ll print our favorites, and name some prom kings and queens who will win English Leather cologne or a corsage.
E-mail a jpeg with PROM in the subject field to q@tribune. com, or mail to Prom Photos, Chicago Tribune, 435 N. Michigan Ave., Q section, 5th floor, Chicago, IL 60611.
Include your name, the high school hosting the prom and the year (throw in the theme if you remember it) and where you live now.
We need to receive them by April 27. Sorry, but photos cannot be returned.
Maybe it’s in a scrapbook or stuffed in a box in the garage–or maybe it’s framed in a place of honor. Find it. Send it. Show the world your glamorous side.
