Five of the seven Bears draft picks are in the fold after cornerback/return specialist Devin Hester and linebacker Jamar Williams signed contracts Sunday.

Hester, one of two second-round picks, received a signing bonus near $1.3 million. He will be counted on to contribute immediately to improve the return game.

Williams, a fourth-round pick, netted a $415,000 signing bonus. He could serve as insurance if the Bears lose Lance Briggs after this season.

Only safety Danieal Manning and defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek remain unsigned, although both aren’t expected to be holdouts when the Bears report to training camp July 26.
