A national cancer-awareness group plans to shed light on skin cancer at a lakeside screening event Saturday in Chicago. The screenings, which generally last about five minutes, will be conducted at North Avenue Beach from noon to 5 p.m., said officials with the Skin Cancer Foundation. There is no charge for the exams, and no appointments are necessary.
