Alma Louise Virginia Riemer, nee Johnson, 88, of Park Ridge, passed away October 7, 2006. She was born March 19, 1918, to Alma and Victor Johnson. She worked for Douglas Aircraft at Orchard Field (O’Hare) during Wold War II, while her husband Dave was serving in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre. She was a member of Queen Ester Chapter #41, O.E.S. Burial will be at sea with husband, Dave in Isla Morada, Florida, near Alligator Lighthouse. She is survived by sons, Lee (Jany) and Jeff; grandkids, Renee and Justin, Judith O’Tura. Mrs. Riemer was preceded in death by her husband, Dave; parents and siblings, Mabel Riemer, George Johnson and Mabel Johnson. Nelson Funeral Home, Park Ridge, serving the family. 847-823-5122.
